CNN.com has no mention of Sestak Controversy
So far the Mainstream media giant CNN seems to not want to cover the Sestak story. There is no mention of it on the front page of its website. If you don't know, Joe Sestak the Democratic nominee for the senate in Pennsylvania was offered a position in the Defense Department by Bill Clinton under orders by White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel. No biggie right? Wrong....its a Federal offense. So far some of the excuses I have heard is "This happens all the time". .....oh so that makes it ok....Murder happens all the time too...does that make it ok? Wha a joke. Im calling CNN out on this. Cover the Sestak story and do your job as a watchdog on Government. I should also mention MSNBC has no Mention of this on the front page or as a top newstory. Foxnews of course is covering it and has it as front page news. I wonder why they are always number 1 in the ratings hmmmm......I am not a big fan of Foxnews but they seem to be the only ones covering this in depth. This should eventually become a big problem for the Obama administration. Eventually the media wakes up and starts to cover this story.

The Cost of War

As I reflect this Memorial day weekend, my thoughts are on those that have past away and given their life for Liberty. I am also thinking alot about those brave soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Cost of the two wars is now closing in on 1 trillion Dollars. How much is a Trillion. Its alot more than you probably think it is. check this out
http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/index.html
Its time to end the undeclared wars and bring our boys home. Its the right thing to do. WE just marched in and we can just come home. We need to follow the foreign policy of the founding fathers and follow a policy of non intervention. These wars are bankrupting our country. Coming home is CONSERVATIVE because it time to get our house in order and reduce the debt that is destroying our currency. All empires come to an end because of an over stretched Military.

Obama/Clinton working together

Bill Clinton was asked by White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel to offer Joe Sestak an "unpaid position" in the White house. Judge Andrew Napalitano wrote a piece with Dick Morris on the controversy. Someones head is going to roll in this one. Most likely Rahm Emmanuel is going to end up resigning. If not I guess it will just be another example of dirty politicians getting away with crime. Bill Clinton + Rahm Emmanuel = Law Breakers. This isn't the first time Clinton has broken the law. Remember Perjury.

Rossi Vs. Didier

So its going to be Dino Rossi Vs. Clint Didier for the Republican nomination held August 17th. Its Classic East vs West in the state of Washington. While I believe both men would be about a zillion times better than the loony leftest Patty Murray. I am going to Vote for Didier and here is why. On principle I agree with Didier more on the issues. Dino has yet to post his views on his website so I don't really knows where he stands yet. But I promise you the republican establishment will throw their weight behind Rossi. 2010 is the year of the outsider and we have seen the Tea Party scalp their opponents in Utah (senator Bennett ousted) and Kentucky (Rand Paul). Who do I think will win? I would say Rossi. But, the Rossi campaign better take the Tea party serious. I think its time we get a small government eastern Washington guy in the senate. If voter turnout is high in Eastern Washington it could be a very close race indeed.

Were the Founders (gasp) religious?

John Adams and John Hancock:
We Recognize No Sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus!
“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever.” - Thomas Jefferson
Proposals for the seal of the United States of America
• “Moses lifting his wand and dividing the Red Sea” –Ben Franklin
• “The children of Israel in the wilderness, led by a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.” --Thomas Jefferson
On July 4, 1776, Congress appointed Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams "to bring in a device for a seal for the United States of America." Franklin's proposal adapted the biblical story of the parting of the Red Sea. Jefferson first recommended the "Children of Israel in the Wilderness, led by a Cloud by Day, and a Pillar of Fire by night. . . ." He then embraced Franklin's proposal and rewrote it

Media loves to hate Libertarians

The lames stream media once again proves why no one is really watching them anymore and why their newspapers are all failing. This Political correctness is getting out of hand. Rand Paul supports The 1964 Civil rights act and "abhores racism". Yet MSNBC aka Obama TV reported throughout the 24 hour news cycle that Rand supported repealing the Civil rights act. Not only is this false but an obvious smear campaign be the media elits shaking in their boots that a constitutionalist will win. FYI Paul won the Republican Nomination on Tuesday by 20+ points and leads his current Democratic Opponant by about the same margin in current polls. The thing that is causng all the controversy is that Paul hinted at modifieing the part in the bill about letting private business decide who they provide service to. Obviously no one in their right mind will bring up a bill in this day in age and change the Civil rights act. That is why the Democrats had to go 40+ years into the past when Rand was in diappers, and try to catch him in "gotcha" moment. The good news is eventually the truth always prevails. Americans are tired of all the debt, wars, out of control spending. The Tea party will keep winning because they are seen as outsiders of the establishment. The media hand picked candidates are starting to get walloped in elections. Just look at Kentuky :) There is Revolution going on.......in case you didnt know.
